The Monthly Meetings of the Board of Directors in 2009 will occur on January 24, February 21, March 28, April 25, May 23, June 27 (Annual Meeting and Biennial Election), August 8, September 12, October 10, November 14, and December 12. (There is no meeting in July.)

On February 8, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kosciuszko Monument in the Public Garden, Boston, the Polish American Congress of Eastern Massachusetts will hold its annual wreath-laying ceremony in honor of Tadeusz Kosciuszko, American and Polish hero and patriot, altruist, and champion of freedom, independence, democracy and equality.

On March 30, 2009 from noon to 2:00 p.m., the Polish American Congress of both Eastern and Western Massachusetts, in concert with the Polish Legislative Caucus of the Massachusetts Legislature, will hold the Third Annual POLISH AMERICAN CONGRESS DAY at the State House, Boston in Nurse’s Hall. The meeting, which will include a light luncheon, will afford Americans of Polish descent in the Commonwealth an opportunity to interact with members of the Caucus on matters of interest to Polonia and Poland. The luncheon is free to members of the Polish American Congress. A $10 donation is required of non-members, payable in advance to the Polish American Congress of Eastern Massachusetts, 360 Highland Street, Holliston, MA 01746. On May 5, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. in the State House, Beacon Street, Boston, the Polish American Congress will commemorate Poland’s Constitution of May 3, 1791. (Location in the State House to be announced on this website no later than April 1, 2009.)
